It took a few trips from London to Prague, many skype chats with the couple’s little son Leo climbing over the laptop and some amount of emails. But at the end Babsi & Luke’s dream came true – they found their perfect wedding venues that were supposed to absolutely „wow“ their wedding guests. It was a difficult choice as you all know, Prague is magical everywhere you look. Especially in late November with Advent spirit in the air.
Christmas inspired wedding
January 19, 2015
Apart from showing the guests the breathtaking beauty and history of Prague, this lovely couple wanted everyone to feel like they are in a winter wonderland the entire day.
Winter/Christmas/Cosy atmosphere shined through the day. There were lot of natural elements like cones (traditional for Czech Christmas), wooden branches, gold details and red berries. The ceremony chapel was full of candle lights.
After the ceremony the guests were brought to a Palace at the Prague Castle to be welcomed with Cranberry spiced champagne and sounds of live harp. There was a Czech version of Viennese cake party ready for them - sweet bar with traditional Czech Christmas sweets and with gorgeous wedding naked cake with fresh berries. It was meant to be, as the Bride said – „A Czech tea and cake party - with a bit of alcohol ;)“. Mulled wine and hot chocolate bars were located outside on the Palace’s terrace so the guests could enjoy the wonderful views of Prague with something yummy and warm in their hands while listening to live Spanish guitar.
To help the guests mingle and have fun together, there was also a superb micro-magician that was loved by everyone including the kids.
In the evening all 30 wedding guests dined in an upscale restaurant located by the feet of the Charles Bridge. Christmas and love was all around..☺.
