Is there a more festive & special way how to celebrate New Year’s Eve then getting married? We just loved Lydia & Rhys’s wish to get married on the last day of the year and have a big glamorous party with their families and friends.
Glamorous New Year’s Eve Prague wedding
June 22, 2015
The wedding was a blend of classic Elegance and Bohemia. Main colours were dark red, magenta, shades of pale pink and of course gold. Red were the flowers and lip stick of the Bride and she looked astonishing. The wedding venues were reflecting Bride’s love for history and Prague. Welcome dinner took place in amazing Art Nouveau restaurant. Entering the restaurant you feel you are stepping right into 19th century.
Ceremony spot was very special. It took place in former confectionery in the Prague Municipality Hall and not word are needed to describe it. One picture is worth thousand words. After ceremony toast with cranberries spiced prosecco followed after the ceremony in another beautiful room of the building – in the Mayor’s Hall.
The whole day was naturally filled with a special spirit that continued to sparkle in the Lobkowicz Palace where the wedding reception and party took place. The guests were entertained by a tour of the Lobkowicz collections while the Bride and Groom took their photos. Wedding dinner was full of joy and happy tears. We loved the sweet bar that was made of traditional Czech Christmas cookies.
The newlyweds and guests lit the sparkles on the terrace at midnight, watching fireworks all over the city. As the year 2014 ended, the new life for Lydia & Rhys started.
