When we heard from John and Paula for whom we arranged wedding in Prague in 2006 that it seems that weddings in Prague will become a family tradition, we were so excited about it. Frankly, it does not happen so often that we have several weddings within the same family! Three years later since chamber winter wedding of this lovely couple, Paula’s daughter Jacqueline has decided that she wants to say her vows to her fiancé Michael in Prague. In the romantic city in the heart of Europe where her Mom said her „I do“ to her husband John and where also years ago John’s parents got married.
Jacqueline and Michael decided for a wedding in Prague at the famous Old Town Hall not only because of keeping with the family tradition, but also because they wanted smaller, stress free wedding. Approximately 20 guests flew in from the United States and for many of them; it was a first time in Europe. The pre-wedding day happened to be a Thanksgivings day; important day for not only all Americans, and therefore a traditional Thanksgiving dinner was served at the private pre-wedding house party. The wedding day was traditional and relaxed. After touching ceremony at the historical Old Town Hall, which is still the most popular wedding venue in Prague, the wedding lunch was served in a restaurant bellow the Prague Castle with amazing views of the city of hundred spires. Before tasty lunch guests were offered warming hot wine on the restaurants terrace; ideal place for a wedding photo shoot. The long day was finished by an evening party in a wine bar in the center of Prague where guests danced to an amazing rock band after some delicious Moravian wines.
