Our clients often ask us - where shall we go partying in Prague, what pub/bars should we visit? If they are from London or Dublin, I tent to say - well, don't expect the kind of night life you have back home, but I am wrong. We have what lot of big modern cities don't - lot of cozy, warm pubs and bars where it's easy to spend endless amount of hours and just soak in the Prague atmosphere.
So here's few tips and a quick list from us of places we like to visit in Prague and believe you will like them too for your pre or after wedding quality, relaxing and fun time. We will skip the great intellectual coffee places that Prague posses many, as those are probably not the kind of places you wish to visit during your wedding celebrations :-). But - if you ever move to Prague - do visit them :-).
La Casa blů - the Spanish village in Prague. A non touristy place with a character and great atmosphere. Mostly visited by Latino or Czech locals. Cozy pub that can easily turn into a wild dance club, depending on the crowd (and something is telling me that tonight it might - our Lebanese hippie wedding is just having their wedding drinks there:-). Great drinks and great Nachos.
La Bodequita del Medio - more trendy and touristy then La Casa, but still very friendly cocktail bar and restaurant. Best mojitos in Prague. Life Cuban music. Graffiti on walls - don't forget to sign, if you find a spare space.
Bluelight bar - probably the coziest little bar you have even been to. Don't expect disco balls and disco music. More like scratched walls and cool bartenders who will smile if you dance on the bar. Might seem quiet when you come in, but it will surprise you after midnight, disregarding the day of the week.
Radost FX - please visit! It's a coffee place, restaurant and club in one. The restaurant is our top pick. Just dive in into the soft sofas and huge pillows, enjoy the trendy rooms and eat the best vegetarian food in Prague. Dj's play in the restaurant too, but if you wanna dance, just climb few stairs down into the nightclub and become the queen and king of one of the trendiest dance floors in Prague.
Well, we could surely recommend more places to visit (amazing jazz clubs, traditional Czech restaurants..), but we've got to go - they are waiting for us out there :-).
