Most people getting married in the summer time want to get married outside – with the change of the climate lately the weather seems to be the last thing to rely on. When planning a wedding we often have to do very last minute decisions and changes because of the weather (a typical question is – “Do we leave the ceremony outside or will we move it inside?”).
Before our May wedding when the weather had been awful for already few weeks, I have worked out the three scenarios & solutions of where we’ll stand before the ceremony :-): 1) “wet wet wet” scenario, 2) “it look like rain but we are not sure” scenario. 3) “glorious day” scenario.
Although it turned out to be the option number 2. – the worse one for deciding and I literally tried to move the clouds with my mind during the ceremony, it truly was a glorious day at the end. We took the risk and held the ceremony outside – with tons of white umbrellas and white duvets ready for people which we thankfully did not have to use. After a cold dark morning the sun came up before the Bride & Groom said their I do’s :-).
Enjoy your Summer everyone despite the occasional rain & thunders :-).
