What are all the wedding photographers crazy about these days? About „First look“ photographs. About the Bride doing the unusual and seeing the Groom before the wedding ceremony. About saving the emotions of the day just for one another without anyone or anything disturbing these special and private moments.
„First look“ is a new trend coming to Europe from USA and beautifully captures the feelings and emotions of when the Bride & Groom meet first on the wedding day. The practical goal is to get most of the formal photos out of the way beforehand but I believe that the other side of the story - catching these romantic and spontaneous moments is what counts more. These might be the most precious memories of your wedding day and the only „you & me time“ of the entire day (unless you are eloping). There will be no stress on the photographs, just emotions running freely.
You will make your photographer very happy is you decide for the “First look” and for us, wedding planners, it’s a great trend also. We are happy that our Brides are starting to realize the benefits of it. We like when the day flows.. No matter how well you prepare the time plan and keep the guests occupied, the photo shoot always seems to interupt the day a little.
So will you break the traditions? I know that this is what I will do at my wedding :-).
