The unique space of Clementinum is one of the most precious historical spaces in Prague – how wonderful that it’s possible to get married there!
Clementinum – hiden unique ceremony place
April 20, 2015
It’s located only steps aways from the Old Town Square and allows you to say your vows away from the hustle and bustle of the historical centre but still being close enough to take your after ceremony portraits there.
The complex of Clementinum (larger then 2 hectares – one of the largest building complexes in Europe!) has a rich history that started in 16th century when founded by the Jezuits. During years and centuries it became school, a university and seat of National Library.
Wedding ceremonies take place in the Mirror Chapel that is suitable for weddings with up to 150 guests – however it’s absolutely beautiful also for smaller intimate ceremonies followed by glasses of bubbles. Live organs accompany your wedding and it’s possible to have your photo session at the Astronomical Tower and in the Baroque Library.
If you are looking to say your I do’s surrounded by the history without being disturbed by many tourists... this is the right spot!
